Comatosis

Dammit. Another 5hrs plus spent unconscious.

Its beginning to irritate me that I can't really write about anything that really irritates me on this thingy. Makes it seem like a waste of time in that sense. And the whole private entry thing feels sort of contradictory to the idea of blogging.

But this isn't really the blog's fault...

Heh. I hope that if cooks really have bigger fish to fry, they won't hurt the small fish's feelings by telling them that and leaving them uncooked. They'd rather be cooked than end up decomposed by oxidation.

If I were role-playing a fish, I feel as if they'd rather be eaten as a main meal than be processed and used as a condiment for the other dishes.

Oook. Wasn't that random.

I've been rewriting this damn entry for the past one and a half hours. It isn't working out so well.

Ahh. Nothing left to do now but talk about the Zen Neon and the Ipod Mini. I spent the bulk of today's conversation with Dad and Oliver asking questions, all of which boiled down to: What would you rather give somebody, an Ipod mini or a Zen Neon?

The Ipod series has a design interface that it so simple and effective that it can truly be described as Elegant. Or plain cool. Just whirling your thumb around the circle can keep you entertained for about 10 mins. That's a long time for a repeated digit motion. The navigation of the interface is clear cut and very intuitive. It's like the freaking circle is some lost part of you that you forgot you had, because it just comes so FReAKING NAturally. Damn you Ipod!

And the commercials are cool too.

The Zen Neon on the other hand..mixed feelings... In terms of looks, she is just about as pretty as the Ipod, albeit in a different way. On the other hand, most of the stik ons it has are pretty...in a way that is a little too effeminate. The interface design is ok (6.5/10), though everything else these days seems crass compared to the Ipod, but that is quite besides the point. The navigation system seems like a rush job, something that disappoints me..If the Neon is going for the look factor, they could at least have had the decency to at least make the navigation interface LOOK better...

Why in the world did the Creative people go and advertise the Neon as the executive Woman's Choice? Doesn't seem like a creative move at all.

I would consider the Zen Neon to have one ups on the Ipod
in terms of functional versatility, such as the existence of options such as recording, line-in, and an FM radio..

Looks wise... The Zen Neon is, to me, likened to a reasonably pretty girl who tries on all sorts of make-up and accessories for self-beautification, as opposed to the Ipod, who is just plain hot no matter how you look at it.

I want to find the guy who thought of the circle idea, and kill him. Now everything else PALES in comparison to that perfect shape...
